Here's a sneak peek into what awaits you:

  • Interventional Radiology (7 ECTS)

    Step into the world of close collaboration with physicians and other health professions during interventional procedures. Gain hands-on experience in technical aspects, from different interventional procedures to radiation
    protection using state-of-the-art radiological equipment. Sharpen your practical skills at the sterile table and learn how to care for critical patients within the radiology department.

  • Cardiac Ultrasound (6 ECTS)

    Unlock cardiac ultrasound as you explore the technical aspects of ultrasound machines. Quality assurance and various aspects of heart ultrasound examinations will be covered. Take on the challenge of performing ultrasound
    examinations and producing high-quality images of the heart, enhancing your skills, and understanding of this critical medical technique.

  • Culture (3 ECTS)

    Immerse yourself in the culture of Flanders alongside fellow exchange students. This cultural exploration promises to be both educational and enjoyable, providing a well-rounded experience.

  • Portfolio (4 ECTS)

    Capture the essence of your learning experiences by collecting images of cardiac procedures using ultrasound machines. The portfolio will demonstrate your growth in cardiac ultrasound and the translation of research into practice. Both will be presented in a coherent report and presentation.

  • This course is open to Medical Imaging students.
